Water excites us, being close to it promotes wellbeing and allows you to do those wonderful beach picnics, clifftop stroll and people watching on a working harbour.

Beaches
Devon and Cornwall are blessed with some of the South west's best. Rugged cliffs of North Cornwall and the fine sand beaches and gentle lapping waters of south Devon
Walks
The Southwest coast path starts at Poole Harbour and hugs the coastline 630 miles through Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. Both Stone's Throw Stays allow easy access to the coast path.
Restaurants & bars
An essential for a relaxing stay. Opt for a family favourite or splash out at one of the UK's most famous restaurants in Padstow. Being IN the Old Town, there is no travel required!
Outdoor activities
Cycle the Camel Trail, surf the north coast of Cornwall, try a kitesurfing lesson or book a boat trip. Wild swimming is also popular in both Topsham and Padstow
Wildlife
The Exe estuary is a haven for birdlife, head out on a wildlife tour to spot otters and dolphins and visit the lobster hatchery in Padstow
For the little ones
Camel Creek Adventure park, Greendale farm shop for animals and Topsham Lido are our family favourites. Both cottages are well equipped for families and we welcome them!
